You don't even have to be human.

Re: The Obamas are way more adorable than the Clintons

so... that's it!

I find the Obamas to be particularly adorable and the top photo captured that really well.

Re: The Obamas are way more adorable than the Clintons

Um, so?

Re: Is Barack Obama Muslim?

The sad part is that that website had to go up.

Re: Stop! The Calgary Foundation isn't discussed at length in the info out there and I probably inferred volitional complicity without knowing enough.

Glad to hear that the Calgary Foundation -- whose "Vital Signs" I've used at work and elsewhere with a lot of respect -- wasn't directly involved with wrongdoing. It's a shame that a lot of institutions and organizations have been brought into this.

I'm curious to see, too, how Cooper's pundit career will fare in the coming years as a result, too.

Re: Barry Cooper’s no friend of science, law, or the value of my degree.

Mike,

The only thing worth clarifying in this story is the relationship of the Calgary Foundation and the Friends of Science. From speaking with someone at the Foundation, I need to point out that the impropriety was entire Dr. Cooper's (mis)administering the charitable funds into purposes other than those specified in the arrangements by the Calgary Foundation and the stated purposes of their use.

The Calgary Foundation is an important charity, that does lots of excellent work. I invite you to examine their "Vital Signs" report on Calgary where the city receives dismal marks in almost every category. www.calgaryvitalsigns.ca

But to be clear, I think Dr. Cooper's conduct was shameless and does constitute criminal wrongdoing. I've never been a fan of his shameless promotion of the Iraq war from the CanWest pulpit either.

-Andrew
